Bull Semen

The following article will explain how to list bull semen for sale.

After you have filled out the Start Selling information click on the button called create a listing located in the top right hand corner. Here is where you will enter the information of the sire.

Choose Product, Category, Breed

Choose the product, category and breed. For this example, we will list for angus semen for sale.

Enter Sires Information

After this step you will notice the next section called Enter Sires Information will appear. We will ask for the following:

• Name
• Description
• Registration Number
• Tatoo
• Date of Birth
• Genomic (optional)
• Breed Association Link (optional)

Copy and paste the entire link from the breed association.

Enter Sires EPD Profile

Next you will see a section called Enter EPD's. Here you will fill out your sires EPD profile. Use the - and + buttons for the direction of the values. You can leave the field blank if you do not have the sires EPD's for certain traits.

Price and Quantity and Certificate

After filling out the sires EPD profile you will need to specify the price and quantity and if you have a certificate for sale.

Under Price and Quantity you will need to fill in the following:

• Quantity - the number of straws you want to sell.
• Price Per Straw - the cost amount per straw.

Under Certificate you will need to fill in the following:

• Yes - choose Yes if you have a certificate for sale.
  • Price - the price of the certificate.
  • Name of Issuer - the name of the breed association that issued the certificate.
  • Association Transfer Fee - the amount your association charges to transger ownership of a certificate (optional).
• No - choose No if you dont have or want to sell a certificate.

Transfer Method

Next you will need to fill out the transfer method. For this you will need to specify where your bull semen inventory is located, in a housing facility or are your personal address. The transfer fee is optional. Do not fill this in if you are the housing facility does not charge a handling fee.

Upload Image

Lastly you can upload an image of your bull. This step is optional, but we highly recommend it.

Your bull semen will be listed immediately once you click start selling. You can manage all of your listings by going to the 'items listed for sale' tab.
